Macon County Sheriff's: 'Operation Zero Tolerance' 19 arrests

Macon County Sheriff's Office -- Announced on Face Book: On November 20th, 2019, in a county wide operation targeting many who have been involved in the sales and/or distribution of narcotics and absconding fugitives, officers with the Macon County Sheriff's Office, NC DPS Probation, NC State Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security conducted searches of residences, traffic stops and executed search and arrest warrants resulting in the arrest of 19 individuals within Macon County for narcotics related offenses and/or outstanding warrants. In addition to these 19 suspects, 4 others were being sought and as of this release there are three who continue to be listed as “Wanted Fugitives”.

At the conclusion of “Operation Zero Tolerance”, numerous individuals have been entered as “Wanted Fugitives”. Anyone with knowledge of the location of any of these below listed suspects whereabouts are encouraged to call 911 and provide additional information.

20. Kaitlin Fitzgibbons - (CAPTURED) 11-21-2019
Felony Escape from Custody. Fitzgibbons was Immediately transported to Central Prison to begin her active sentence of four months. Upon her release from DOC she will be transported back to Macon County to face multiple pending charges including escape.
